It’s summertime, and the temperature is rising! A great time to get out the splash pad so the pups can have fun while cooling off.
Of course, they have to be willing to go into it.
No problem with Zoey, who is pretty fearless about anything.
But Mila is the cautious one, even though she would certainly love the splash pad if she gave it a try!
Mila is highly treat-driven, so I tried throwing some small training treats into the splash pad. Zoey was delighted! But as you can see in the first video below, Mila was still hesitant—at first.
By the time of the second video, Mila was happily going into it (in this case, while carrying her favorite ball).
Anyway, a splash pad is a great way for dogs to cool off during the summer. It’s super easy to connect to the garden hose and get running right away.
