We know that the shepherd breeds–including German Shepherds–are awesome protectors of their family members. In the video posted below, dramatic footage shows a young boy playing in his front yard with the family’s German Shepherd. All of a sudden, a neighbor dog from across the street comes charging at the pair. The German Shepherd (who looks a lot like our Mila) does a magnificent job of heading off the intruder.
